Gaz was the best server I've ever had, carefully explained the menu without overloading too much information keeping it efficient and concise. Maintained professionalism as well as being able to sneak it some very appreciated and welcomed conversation ! Food was 9.2/10 and by far the best truck stop food I've had. Shoutout to Gaz and shoutout to the cooks !

I was running a load from Minneapolis back home to Tampa FL and stopped in. Let's just say this. The food was phenomenal, waitress was very pleasant.... I'm from Massachusetts so you know nothing compares to dunkin coffee, until I went to Bob Marleys house in Jamaica... the blue mountain coffee towered dunkin coffee. Now I stopped into the Osseo Family restaurant and their coffee is just as good if not better than the coffee in JA. I've never had a better cup of coffee. I'm so excited to pick up in Minneapolis tomorrow and pass through because I will be stopping in for breakfast and probably about a half gallon of coffee.

While stopping in to grab a cup of coffee, noticed this family , my husband and I are truck drivers so therefore we go a lot of places. It's really hard to sit down and find a good hearty hot meal, especially on whether that's not fit for men and the beast snow that's in piles taller than me, but coming into this restaurant, the service was impeccable. The minute we walked in the young lady at the counter, asked us how many of us there were, and she said we could sit anywhere that we wanted to that she would find us, the ambience well was just impeccable. Would I recommend this restaurant to somebody else? In this part of Wisconsin? Yes, I would as a food critic because I am very much so a foodie. It doesn't take much for me to complain about some thing that is not right not hot enough too cold not salty enough or seasoned enough so to say anything of that proportion at this time would be unlikely as the food was served more than room temperature. It was good and hot. The soup was at and delicious and the waitress when she began to take care of us was on point right on top of it, when I recommend this young lady is a waitress in this restaurant yes I would so when you come into this restaurant, be sure to ask for Jamie . And be sure when you come in that you look for a gorgeous, well humored, hostess by the name of Sara she is definitely somebody you'd like to meet.

All the previous 5 star reviews are right! We stopped of for a late last lunch on our way to a Lion Convention in Eau Claire. Where has this place been all our lives? When traveling up to my hometown of Hayward a few times a year, we usually stop off in Eau Claire for lunch/dinner but will be making this restaurant our priority from now On. Round 2 one week later- my husband had been craving a good hamburger so this stop he had his hamburger and asked for his French fries crisp. I thought that was funny because our last stop here the French fries are already crisp which makes them the best French fries! Alas, his did come out a little darker and a little crispier. He said his cheeseburger was excellent and it was also huge, and he took 1/2 of his burger and fries out the door with him. He also had a cup of chicken and dumpling soup as I raved about it from our last visit. I ham an internal battle with choosing what I thought I should eat to save calories for our weekend, and what I wanted to eat. What I wanted to eat won so I ordered the Ruben with French fries and chicken noodle soup. Yummy. The sandwich was excellent with thin slices of roasted corn beef, just the right amount of sauerkraut and cheese and the Bo us is the sauce for the sandwich was served o. The side so I had co from over how much of the sauce went on my sandwich. Also 1/2 of my meal Went out the door with me. We really do look forward to making this one of our travel stops going forward over the years.

Terrific breakfast here, one of the best skillets I've had in a long looong time!! The ladies working here are very warm and pleasant, making the experience that much better. If you're on a road trip and hungry, don't do the "fast food" thing; Osseo Family Restaurant is right off I94, and is WELL WORTH THE STOP!

We just finished a week of fishing with two other couples and they had suggested that we could stop for one final breakfast together at Osseo Family Restaurant before going our separate ways! They had all been here before and liked it. That sounded good to me so we all agreed. We arrived around 9:30am on Saturday morning and checked in requesting a table for six. It only took a few minutes and they had a table ready for us. We ordered coffee all around. I had my eye on one of the specials for Biscuits and Gravy with Eggs that I ordered scrambled and my wife ordered their Veggie Breakfast Skillet. Once our orders were all placed we could relax and talk about our week of fishing among other things! Then the food arrived and we got quieter as we ate. I really liked my Biscuits and Gravy; the gravy had a meaty and flavorful taste to it unlike some places where it tastes like they forgot to season it. My wife liked her Veggie Skillet but said it seemed to have too many hash Browns and could have had more Veggies. Service was very good and our coffee was kept full. Friendly, professional staff, good service, good food, good portions, and reasonable prices...we will definitely stop here again whenever we are in the area!
